Mission of our IT Governance Center of Excellence
Our IT Governance Center of Excellence is devoted to transfer and adopt the best practices related to Information Security, IT Service Management, Quality and Business Continuity through consulting and professional capacity building, participation in R&D projects and various types of international cooperation.
In order to respond to the rise of the importance of information for the business, and the growing threats that organizations are exposed to in that regard, in 2004 T&P formed its IT Governance Center of Excellence. In order to build the awareness among the clients for Information Security, Trajkovski & Partners’ consultants and several associates initiated Club 17799 as a meeting place and forum for discussion.
Since 2006 the Center of Excellence has extended its scope to include several emerging areas, including:
- IT Service Management – implementation of ITIL best practices and ISO 20000 standard for IT Service Management
- Business Continuity – implementation of the best practices defined in ISO 22301 standard for Business Continuity Management
In the following years, the IT Governance Center of Excellence in T&P worked on delivery of trainings and implementing Information Security Management Systems based on ISO27001 as well as other systems such as IT Service Management Systems based on ISO20000 and ITIL, Quality Management System based on ISO 9001, Business continuity management systems based on ISO 22301 standard, etc.
Information Security presents safeguarding the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of written, spoken and electronic information. Since the early days of writing, people understood the necessity to protect the information, these days when almost everything depends on the Information Technology, Information Security and IT Service Management is inevitable.
