SIGMA has now published the 2021 Monitoring Reports reviewing trends against 2017 and 2019 in the Western Balkans in all areas of public administration reform.
The assessment of developments in the EU Enlargement and Neighborhood countries is one of SIGMA’s main work streams in the context of supporting public administration reforms. This year, SIGMA carried out assessments in the six Western Balkan public administrations: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*, Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia and Serbia.
The analysis is based on the Principles of Public Administration and the indicators established in the Methodological Framework. The reports monitor progress in six reform areas against 52 indicators, 350 sub-indicators and around 1000 criteria.
Our consultant Marija Gasparovic actively participated in the preparation of the SIGMA 2021 monitoring report in the Republic of Northern Macedonia.
